Rabbi Jesus and his Jewish Chutzpah or don’t trust, don’t fear, don’t beg
It seems that a whole period of human history is coming to an end - Christian or Jewish - whichever you like. There is no doubt that Yeshua Ga Nozri, later called Jesus Christ, was a Jew, at least in his Halachic sense, since there is no doubt about the Jewish origin of his mother Mary. This is also confirmed by his position of rabbi / teacher, which is not disputed by any of his opponents. Therefore, for a start, it is necessary to recognize both the Jewish origin of Jesus and his social position as a rabbi in Roman Judea as a fait accompli.
This certainty refers only to questions of his origin, including consanguinity with the tribe of David, but in no way refers to questions of his philosophy, and his death was a consequence of his philosophy, and by no means genetics. And here lies the greatest mystery of history: was the death of Jesus the result of the fact that he was the son of God and his deeds from the heavenly father - and this was the result of an ordinary intrigue of the Jewish ruling elite at the court of the Roman governor, or was the Sanhedrin right and Jesus really confused the people with his sermons and his miracles are tricks from the evil one.
But there is no way to see the records of Jesus and one has to judge about his words and actions only on the basis of secondary testimonies, which only confirm his highest confidence in his righteousness and celebrity. It should also be remembered that the rabbi is not a representative of God, but only the person who is most knowledgeable in God’s covenants, and the Sanhedrin is responsible for the interpretation of the Law by people, but not for the Law. At the same time, there is no mention of the reprisals of the Sanhedrin against other representatives of the rabbinate who professed points of view other than the official one. Moreover, history has brought to us a case with the consideration of the case in the Sanhedrin and the actual acquittal of Jesus' disciples.
All of the above forces a closer look at the version with the validity of the Sanhedrin's accusations of religious fraud. But, even if this version is confirmed, the question of the sincerity of Jesus' beliefs and the degree of their validity remains outside the brackets, especially since the Jewish people of Jerusalem, an emotionally unstable crowd consisting mainly of poorly educated fringes, acts as the final client here. After all, fraud can only be recognized as an action aimed at abuse of trust for selfish purposes, and in other cases it is a banal delusion.
However, what can be explained to the ignorant crowd, who were still shouting "Hosanna" yesterday and now repeating "Crucify him"? Don’t trust, don’t fair, don’t beg - as a real antithesis to the idea about common weal. And the calmness of Jesus is explained, on the one hand, by his personal Jewish Chutzpah and, on the other hand, faith in the limitless possibilities of his heavenly father. The understanding of the futility of any appealing – to this crowd or to his Lord, when the comprehension of the meaninglessness of what is happening - or subordination to its higher and incomprehensible plan - permeates not only the perception of Jesus, but also the present feeling of the surrounding reality today, 20 centuries later ...
