Conceptual symbolism - with no sense and no mercy
Since Conceptual Symbolism (hereinafter referred to as K. S.) is not only an aesthetic but also a philosophical trend, it would be necessary to acquaint the venerable public with some problems of its application:
1. - K. S. is not based on the current ideology, moreover, it is hostile to it, since it considers it as one more delusion.
2. - K. S. proceeds from the postulate of uncertainty and the final unknowability of the Plan, as well as the ultimate futility of experience.
3. - K. S. considers artistic creativity not as a concomitant feature of human society, but as a function of any being.
4. - K. S. accepts artistic creativity as an integral function of any being, which is subject to similar changes.
5. - K. S. does not distinguish between the conscious and the unconscious
6. - K. S. does not make difference between matter and idea
Thus, Conceptual Symbolism is a meaningless – from the point of view of modern man-artistic and philosophical trend.
At the same time, even brief conclusions from the theory of Conceptual Symbolism are incompatible with the existence of a universal way of thinking - within the framework of the concepts of a system consisting of a subject and an object:
1. - The technical knowledge of human society is at the same level as it was thousands of years ago.
2. - The same applies to the aesthetic knowledge of the human population.
3. - The picture of the world is voluntary and imaginative.
4. - Conditional progress is only a movement with an unknown direction.
5. - The adequacy of modern human (subject) thinking to the surrounding world (object) is mostly doubtful.
6. - There are convulsive attempts to replace the subject in the system.
As a summary - there are three possible solutions to the problem: change of object, change of subject, change of system.
