In our essays the terms "conceptual painting" and "conceptual art" are often used - therefore it would be desirable to concretize these concepts several. The term "conceptual art" was widely adopted enough after article "Paragraphs about Conceptual Art" of the American artist Sol LeWitt appeared in the summer journal number Art Forum of 1967. At the same time, however, it is necessary to understand that realities of the world of the 70th years of the last century great differ from today's both in terms of economy, and in terms of policy and in terms of banal world order. For example, now there is a steady opinion that all art conceptually to some extent, and the point of view that art is substantially similar to advertising gets more and more supporters.

  Thus, having appeared in the West in 60e years of the last century, the conceptualism became the direction, which broke habitual link between the contents and a form of the work of art - pictures in this example. In a certain case, the work of art could exist in an image of the plan, which is only slightly supported with some visual factors. At the same time, conceptual artists gave a priority not to a form of performance of works, but his idea, which could be not always clear to the viewer. From here and numerous judgments of conceptualism, as about art of the elite – on the one hand or its assessment as unclear art – with another. Also, naturally, that these trends did not gain distribution among art of the socialist camp, but found understanding and the embodiment in the Jewish artists exactly thanks to philosophical dispassionateness from real life and to accord of traditional philosophy of Judaism.

  However, many well-known factors of daily occurrence significantly influenced development of conceptual art, having caused its transition to a modern, post-conceptual phase. Actually, without differing from conceptualism in approach to the work of art and still declaring a primacy of the idea over a form, post-conceptual art considerably expanded forms of interaction and a sphere of influence, having allowed not only elements of figures at images, but also elements of photo in art style.
