New Symbolism and old rake

Speaking about the New Symbolism as an artistic movement, it is impossible not to note the fundamental connection of Symbolism with all aspects of human society. This connection appears visibly, especially if we consider the society of modern people from the position of the Creator, and not the Beast, which modern man, unfortunately, is in most of his instincts and habits. At the same time, it should be emphasized that it is the Creator who controls the Beast and the nature in which this beast exists quite comfortably. The similarity of a person to a beast is not only genetic, but also mental, and modern culture is based mainly on animal traditions. It cannot be said that a person did not try to get rid of them, but each such attempt was unsuccessful and today a visual analogue of human society can be found in any animal pack.

The symbol is absent from the beast because it is unnecessary, whereas the creator's symbol is a sign that distinguishes him from the rest of the world. It should be lucky not to step on the old rake again and not to repeat today a fate of Neanderthal man, who suddenly disappeared exactly at the appearance of the current man. You can try to determine the vector of changes by comparing these two types of people, and, undoubtedly, a modern type of person is, so to speak, a more advanced version, precisely in terms of creativity. It may be recalled that the appearance of the Cro-Magnon was just marked by the emergence of painting in the form of the first rock paintings. However, for many reasons, there is a belief that the contemporary man is nothing more than the product of an experiment and it would be strange to think that this experiment is over.

Returning to a New or Conceptual Symbolism, it should be understood that this trend professes other principles of art, the principles of the Creator, and not the Beast and is not based on animal instincts. And, given the dominance of the beast in modern man, it is difficult to count on his understanding of other laws and principles. Hence the exclusivity of perception, and the exclusivity of the creativity of artists of this genre, as well as the futility of attempts to evaluate from the standpoint of "traditional art", based on   the presence of "beauties", however, in essence, being representations of the Beast, not the Creator. Simply put, the laws dictated by "classical art" may not be applicable in a changed world. The idea of circular motion as a natural state of matter is able to bring down the concept of perspective and form, as well as everything inherited from the Beast, the perception of the surrounding world.
